Cedar River Watershed Spring Programs

The Cedar River Watershed has tons of great activities for people of all ages. Download the Program Guide (PDF).

Here is a small sampling of what they have to offer:

For toddlers, they have an activity for parents and tots to go on an interactive stroll called “Knee High Naturalists” several times during the spring and summer. The next stroll is May 13th from 9:30-10:30 AM. Cost $5 per tot.

Another very popular activity is “Batty About Bats” for children 8+ years and is known to fill up fast. They hold this fun activity at night around the campfire circle near the center.

“Family Friendly Birding”, for children 8+ years is another popular activity that is sure to fill up fast and is led by Woody Wheeler, Master Birder, Audubon, Saturday May 9 & 16 from 9-11AM.

All of this and more can be found here.
