The first ever Pet Walk for Autism is being held on April 25, 2009 in Snoqualmie, WA.
“Pet Walk for Autism is a fund-raising effort for the national organization Today’s Hope. Today’s Hope provides access to early intervention services to families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by directly funding providers of these services. Directly funding these early intervention services enables families the opportunity to build a future for their children by changing the trajectory of lives in a positive and self sustaining manner. Today’s Hope will provide $1000 monthly for a period of 3 years. This money will provide hope for families that would otherwise be unable to afford early intervention for their children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.”
This is going to be an awesome event with donated prizes for the silent auction and raffle. They are also planing on having yummy food, a photographer, and bouncy jump too! Bring the family!!
To register your pets and/or find out more about the Pet Walk for Autism check out their website.

Oliebollen is a great website with high-quality children’s clothes, toys, classic books, shower gifts and everything else. They have brands like small paul, tea, HABA, Zutano, Catimini and other designer clothing brands. This a great resource for shopping for unusual birthday presents when you want to find something a little more special than what Target or Walmart can offer.

What a great idea! If someone you know is having a baby or is recovering from surgery, this is a great way to coordinate meal delivery between friends/coworkers/church parishoners.
After having tried to coordinate meals for friends using message boards, email and other comparatively archaic methods, I can’t believe that this is the first time I’ve heard of such a service. You can create a meal calendar complete with a list of favorite foods, gift card options, contact information, maps and directions!! Check out more at www.mealbaby.com
