A couple of my friends have raved about these online chore, behavior and study charts for kids ages 5-15. It’s a safe, interactive way for your kids to earn Handipoints and have fun while getting their chores done.
Here’s a little description from the Handipoints website.
In addition to powerful parenting tools for creating Chore, Behavior, and Study Charts, Handipoints features HandiLand, a safe virtual world where kids adopt their own cartoon cat, play games and watch movies. Free members can upgrade to the Cool Cats Club to unlock special clothes, furniture, and games. Great for kids from 5 to 13, Handipoints helps teach kids how to work and save for fun virtual rewards.

This A Whistle Stop Birthday Party idea is one of my personal favorites and will probably be used for our son’s next birthday party. Here is a little description from the Northwest Railway Museum’s website:
“Ride a vintage train to Snoqualmie Falls and back. Have your party in a railway baggage car or at a picnic table on the depot grounds. Receive an engineer’s hat for the birthday child and railway-fun goodie bag for all child-aged party goers.”
